Fused Glass Gallery - Functional Art

Tableware. Each of the profiled items is a product of the age old alchemy between artist, glass and heat. Powdered enamels are applied between two pieces of clear glass, fired to 1500 degrees, then slowly cooled. This dynamic process yields subtle differences which are unique to each piece. All of my fused glass tableware is safe for food, dishwasher, and everyday use.

All of the serving dishes are food and dishwasher safe, and ready for everyday use.

Votives/Vases. Sometimes called "handkerchief vases" because of the way the glass flows, each of these pieces are handmade from stained glass that has beendraped over a mold at high temperatures. These unique works will stand on their own, glow with a candle, or enhance a bouquet of flowers. Smaller size includes votive candle and holder.

Seasonal. My seasonal designs offer you an array of choices from Christmas and Chanukah to Halloween, Valentines, fall leaves and more. Each piece will brighten your festive occasion or make a thoughtfull gift.

Suncatchers. Using the glass fusing technique of applying powdered enamels between two pieces of clear glass and firing to 1500 degrees, these suncatchers are created for lasting beauty. They will brighten any window and make a wonderful gift for any occasion. The colors wil not fade and the hook is fused into each piece and tied with clear line for easy hanging.

Ornaments.

From office & teachers gifts to wedding & shower favors, these 2.75" fused glass ornaments make a thoughtful addition to any occasion. Each one is tied with satin ribbon and ready for a special window or holiday tree.
